Okay folks, heads up:  I am making my final arrangements to pick up the donated pet food in Columbus wednesday.....if you, or any one you know to be finacially strapped for pet food needs help, have them contact me asap at either 330-724-6181 (our s/n line) or my cell phone at 330-328-1173.   As I have stated before this is supposed to be all dog food but I may get anything......it is to be 4,990 lbs. total of canned, pouched and dry food.  These are Mars/Pedigree products........if your dog(s) need premium food, this won't fit that bill.  ** Call me wednesday evening to see what we actually rec'd...if it is all cat food, then dog people won't make a trip for nothing! Donations of food will be $2.00 per case of canned food, $.50 per case/box of pouched foods, and dry food will be $1.00 per 5-15# size and $2.00 per 20-50# size bags.  Cash only please.  The donations pay for the rental truck we use to pick up the food. Pick up will be at the county bldg. at 180 E. South St., Akron from 12 noon-4pm THURSDAY or until the food is gone.  **The county can't let us use the bldg. on the weekends due to budget cuts. The spirit of this food 'pantry' is to help people who rescue animals, elderly and handicapped folks who have companions to feed....please don't have your friends who can afford to buy food come and stock their shelves!  Also, please don't sell the food to make a buck yourself.  If I find out that has happened, you won't participate again....and this could end this project for us all.  'Help, but don't abuse' Cathy Wood Directions to Pickup Point: County bldg. at 180 E.
