These are just a few photos of the 'Lakemore cats'.....the home is destroyed inside.  Originally there were 135 cats, and this was because 1 female was not spayed 4 years ago.  The home owner has dumped 50-60 of the cats but we have removed 27 cats to date and have probaby another 25 in the home.  My co-rescuerer, Eric Schickendantz, of W. Akron had to put the electricity in his name so we could breath in the house....it was 90+ yesterday and the smell is unbelieveable!  But, as you can see, the cats are beauties.....no URI's, conjunctivitis which is amazing!  Many are Oriental/Balines/Siamese/Himalayan mixes. We still need foster or adoptive homes for the remaining cats, plus money for vet care, cat food and litter.  Cat carriers would be appreicated, too!  Please pass this on to all your friends, neighbors, vets and co-workers.  Time is running out for these guys and girls!  Call me at 330-328-1173 if you can help...every little bit helps!   Click here for photos Cathy Wood, CHAP, Akron
